Friendly Staff, Basic Hotel.

Liked: The staff was very very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was a nice touch.
Disliked: The rooms are beyond boring and basic. It feels like being in a 1920's hospital room still. The floors are in poor condition and overall, the space was just a let down when it could easily be very cool.

Liked: It’s a unique hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity to a park was wonderful for our dog walks. The roof top lounge has interesting and good food and drink We would definitely stay again.

Disliked: The room was a bit industrial. With a few tweaks the atmosphere could be warmer.

Exceptional

Had such promise but facility...

Liked: This is a beautiful hotel but there are no desks in the room to work and its not a good set up for work trips.
Disliked: I like this hotel alot but they had the water shut off for most of the first day I was there and had a carpet cleaner going Monday night until 10pm in front of my room. I have to wake up early for work travel most of the time and was so frustrated. I called front desk and they just shrugged it off. I'll never stay here again.

Convenient business stay

Liked: Friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Location was easy to get to just off the highway - close to the airport without having to hear the noise. Close enough to walk to a few decent restaurants. Rooftop bar.
Disliked: Breakfast buffet was the same every day - always nice to get a bit of variety for a multi-day trip.

This was a delightful place...

Liked: I wasn't expecting the hot tub but noticed steam rising behind an adobe wall in the lovely courtyard outside my room window Sure enough I had a lovely early morning soak! The rooftop lounge was also delightful. I sat outside for awhile next to a heater in the cold evening, then moved inside to the bar where I had fun conversation with the bartenders. I also loved the history in framed photos throughout the hotel.
