Liked: The location is great, very central, and the lobby is really beautiful. The building is clearly very old with a lot of history.
Disliked: The beds were uncomfortable and made a lot of noise. Although the room was clean, water would cover the bathroom from the bathroom above, which is kind of gross if you think about it. The main issue was there were many men hanging around the stairwells, the corridors and shared spaces with no regard to other guests. A man was on the phone in the corridor all night, keeping us awake. I think this hotel also serves as some sort of hostel for refugees which is why there are so many single men in and out of the hotel constantly at all times.

Old fashioned service and slow...

Liked: Clean safe comfortable.
Disliked: Checking process was slow. The hotel appears to be use as a hostel for single male individuals and we found this a little intimidating as we were seeking a more family oriented environment.

Poor

Very good value budget hotel...

Liked: This hotel was excellent value for money. It's conveniently located off the Augustus Road, so is near the cathedrals and other tourist areas. Zaragoza is quite a distance from the train station, and while I did the 30-35 minute walk, it's easy enough to do by bus. The hotel itself doubles as a hostel and this made breakfast a bit chaotic, with a lot of folk (who may have been asylum seekers?). The choice was pretty good (bread, meat, cheese). The room was reasonably large and the bathroom and shower excellent. There was also a private outside terrace (it was December, so too cold to use). It had very generous check out time. Overall, for the price of a basic hotel, you get above basic quality. I'd certainly consider staying here again.
Disliked: These are minor issues. The bed was an old fashioned iron sprung one that made quite a lot of noise when you turned in the night. Breakfast was a bit overcrowded, and the coffee machine broke down a couple of times, but it was very quickly fixed. Despite this, it was excellent value.

Disliked: Lot of refugies in hôtel! (I could not understand this fact)Noise I couldn't have breakfast at the hotel because of the number of refugees who were in line.

Good location

Liked: The location was really good, we walked everywhere easily. The staff was also kind.
Disliked: The room had a very bad smell from the drain. The bed and the pillows were not that comfortable. The room really needs to be renovated.

The only good thing about...

Liked: The located is fantastic! But the hotel is not that clean, the sink was clogged, the ac terrible!
Disliked: The sink was clogged, the air conditioning didn't work, only the heating and it was hot, so I had to turn it off, but it was too hot and I had to open the windows. My mattress was awful! And the room wasn't that clean, especially under the beds. It's clear that they never clean there
