Liked: Location was perfect, easy reach, took the bus no 30 from train station,
Disliked: Not a big issue, tried to work our which floor the tooms were, its in a residential apartment, so didn’t know where to go on elevator, but eventually got there!

Pleasant, and would have been...

Liked: The overall look of the hotel is old fashioned but quite authentic. We had 4 comfortable night in a large twin room with a great view of the city rooftops. The hotel is located on the 6th floor of an apartment building. The lift was reliable as well as ornately decorative with cast ironwork. Everything was lovely and very clean. 3 x shared shower/bathrooms were available to serve the guest rooms. However, desk staff informed me the owner had ‘taken’ the bath plug away to prevent guests from having a bath which seemed a bit miserly if I’m honest. I could have done with a bit of a soak after a long day walking round the city! The electric showers were powerful, hot and also immaculately clean. We were also pleasantly surprised to find free breakfast items each day as well as coffee and tea making facilities available throughout the day and night. There was also a small library of books for guests’ use.
Disliked: I didn’t like that fact I couldn’t have a bath ☹️
