love this place

Liked: great rooms (the older ones on the lower floors) great atmosphere. best location.
Disliked: watch out on weekends theres a cinema next door and the sound comes thru the walls until 1-1:30am in rooms at the end of 1 hallway - room 324 for example (usually a perfect room).

Liked: The location is nice and central. The staff were really friendly and accommodating
Disliked: The pictures are misleading. I’m sure the rooms are cleaned but they don’t look clean. The whole place needs an update.

Disliked: the hotel is very very loudly, there is a cinema salon at the under the hotel and it unbelivable. The hotel staff are not nice. Not clean.

Exceptional

Perfect location if a little...

Liked: Location and staff were fantastic, friendliest bunch at any time of the day, service was great. The room was a good size, loads of hangers in the wardrobe. Water in the shower got up to temperature quite quickly, and the WiFi was great. Breakfast was fine too, relatively good continental breakfast to suit everyone.
Disliked: Decor in the room was tired looking. The same could be said for the rest of the hotel, very dated but could work if it was refreshed with a new carpet and better paintwork. At the moment, it's tough around the edges. Bed, although a fine size, the mattress springs could be felt. One small sachet of shampoo in the shower was not great. If you're one for an early night and are given a room towards the back of the building on the 3rd floor, the cinema in the building beneath/next door could be heard and will rattle some fixings.
