Liked: Nice Pleasant hotel in the heart of the city. I liked the old grandeur feel and very spacious corridors. Room very comfortable.

Not recommended

Liked: The location was comfortable to reach the centre square
Disliked: The hotel is old and shabby and in no way justifies the price.The rooms are outdated, the shower is tiny, the blankets are tattered and uninviting.

Would absolutely recommend

Liked: The hotel staff are lovely and made us feel really welcome. Safe place to store luggage before check in and the breakfast was great- lots of options.The room was perfectly clean and smelled amazing without any obvious artificial scents.Photos are true to the real thing.We found the property was quiet with little noise from other guests or the streets. Elevator available if required. The bathroom certainly requires an update - very clean but dated - my partner is 6’2 so the shower head was far too low for him and he had a very uncomfortable time bending down to shower. Other than the very dated decor, the room was extremely comfortable and a nice slice of old town Italy. Bed was large and comfortable but split into two. Could do with more pillows and a proper duvet rather than just a sheet/think blanket. Overall we were very happy with our stay here, great location and lovely hotel. Thank you very much to the staff and would absolutely recommend this hotel to others wanting to stay in the heart of Bologna.

Very poor

Liked: The only good thing about this hotel is that it is located in the center of the city. Everything in the hotel is very old, I wasn’t feeling comfortable at all.

Stay just because of work

Liked: The room quality is poor. The walls are covered/designed in a straw mesh. My room had exposed wood panels covering the damp that was in the room.
Disliked: The room, bed and breakfast. The coffee was terrible, which is extremely disappointing for an Italian hotel.
