Disliked: There were no blankets on the bed and they double charged me for the room and made me wait for the charges to fall of instead of refunding me. They also charged 2 deposits when we extended our stay. Won't likely be staying there again

Liked: Location downtown OTTUMWA Great, Staff Great,Building has lots of potential, but smoking, carpets need to be cleaned at least a good 4 times carpet extracted or completely changed out, beds were decent, lights extremely dim, an odd ordor through out the entire hotel, musty moving towards moldy smell. Like I said, investment for renovations, upgrade the old dive bar on first floor, make it a MODERN dive bar, maybe ax throwing or newer sports bar type. Attract young people there, seems like it's more of a seniors bingo with liquor place, smoking

Liked: Location is good. I also like they provide a real breakfast, not just a muffin and juice. The bed was comfortable as well.
Disliked: Very old building, rooms are super outdated and the building did have a musty smell. The pillows were small and lumpy.
