Perfectly comfortable, but...

Liked: Excellent breakfast, in a room with a lovely view over the Leda. Plenty of free parking, and although a bit outside the centre of Leer it's easy to get there by car. Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom.
Disliked: Welcome was a bit offhand, and we were very disappointed that it had not been made clear on booking that you needed to book a table in advance if you wanted to eat in at a reasonable time. I would have expected two comfortable chairs in a double room, rather than one easy chair and a chair for sitting at the table. Internal signage could have been clearer,

Liked: 4 star hotel at 2 star prices... what's not to like.A wee gem. Very comfortable room.
Disliked: Too short a stay.

A business style hotel away...

Liked: Helpful staff.A secure bike shed.
Disliked: A bit of a walk to get into the old centre of town. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room (if I remember correctly).The bar was closed.

A welcome stay in Leer.

Liked: spacious rooms and having a balcony was a bonus seen the beautiful weather. The breakfast was really nice. Location is good, you can have a short walk to the city center and harbour. In fact everything was as planned.
Disliked: I saw complaints about have to make a reservation for the diner. For us that was no problem, it allows the restaurant to take their time for an excellent meal.
