Disliked: The restaurant staff at breakfast could do with a few more smiles and a better attitude. At 6.30 in the morning when the place is extremely packed and you are running out of time before participating in a major event, the last thing you need is the unwelcoming and unpleasant attitude of the Bulgarian lady who works there.The air conditioner makes the room very cold and is so difficult to turn off. Apart from that had an alright experience at the hotel.

Close to the sites but...

Liked: The location is just down from the Invalidovna subway station and the associated tramlines. Easy to get in and out of Old Town without having to stay in the hustle and bustle and noise of the tourist areas. A market beside the subway station meant the cost of food could be controlled better and avoid eating in restaurants constantly. The free breakfast was simple but had extended hours so it was easy to get a meal regardless of how late a night before or early of a day it was going to be.

Disliked: Twice they sent me to an unprepared room that might still be occupied by someone (see attached photo). The third time I asked them to go to the front (the rooms were on the 16th and 17th floors). Subsequently, I received low-quality alcohol at the bar, moreover, with the option of paying only in cash. No compensation for problems at all. Never again this hotel.

Liked: location ideal for the iihf weekend,good for access to the city and o2 centre.
Disliked: shower is hand held !!! put a holder at head height !! terrible having to hold the shower head an trying to shower .. get mattress, not 2inch bits of foam.. aircon went to 23 degrees at minimum so room was roasting !!! if you opened window you got infested with flys instantly. carpets dirty alot of hair.
