First time staying here and...
Liked: Very Central location, beautiful canal view on one side and then right onto the main streets of amsterdam via the main reception, friendly staff, warm and cosy feel inside the bar area, good drink selection. We had a canal view and it was worth the little extra money. Rooms were clean and tidy.
Disliked: Personally I think the Beds are a little hard, maybe a mattress topper would help this for a little extra comfort, but can't fault anything else

Liked: The location was great
Disliked: The beds were just foam on unsupportive beds. We were based over reception on the Main Street. It was very noisy. The hotel apparently doesn’t do double beds . Small room with no coffee or tea. Terrible experience.

Liked: I really enjoy the hotel’s location, like being close to attractions and bars. The service I receive from the staff was fabulous, making us feel welcome and comfortable.
Disliked: There was no fault about the hotel! The only thing I can think of is the smells of the drains and I know that’s not the hotels fault at all! I’ve stayed in a few other hotels and you get the same with them.

Liked: Location is perfect! Bed were soft and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was pretty good.
Disliked: Room could use some updates and paint. In need of extra toiletries. Selling toiletries is for rooms that cost less than $150 a night.
