Disliked: ATTENTION-PARKING. We warn hotel guests who want to use the hotel parking. During our stay from 16.-19.8.2024, the hotel receptionist gave us incorrect information about the parking spaces that the hotel has reserved for its guests. After two days, we found two penalty tickets for 2x875,-DKK outside the car window. After complaining at the hotel reception, another receptionist promised us to correct this mistake of the hotel and took these two penalty tickets from us. The next day we left with the feeling that the hotel would correct its mistake. On 6.12.2024, we received two letters from a collection agency. We immediately contacted the hotel with a request to correct their mistake. Without result. Two more letters from the collection agency with higher amounts arrived on 19.12.2024. In order to have a peaceful Christmas, we paid the parking fines totaling 2x1500,-DKK=3000,-DKK. This fatal mistake by the receptionist of the ODEON Hotel really spoiled our experience of beautiful Denmark.Miroslav Havlíček

Very much enjoyed my stay...

Liked: Very friendly staff, excellent location and breakfast. Small room but comfortable and good for a solo traveller. Practically next door to the wonderful HC Andersen Hus.
Disliked: Sink drained slowly and shower pressure was weak but all in all very little to complain about.

A charmless, boring, cramped hotel...

Disliked: Everything about this hotel is devoid of character and space. The city is very interesting but this hotel is cramped and the information about it incorrect. If you book a queen you will be given a double bed. If you book this hotel because they advertise parking, you will find that it's only a handful of spaces and if they're full you are out of luck. We had to ask repeatedly for things like bedding and pillows and towels. The pillow was given to us stained without a pillowcase.

Liked: Good central location and close to the station.
Disliked: Close to the tram line so you hear them go past. Rooms quite small but nice.

Liked: Staff are amazing. Registration is quick and the staff have good advise about restaurants or other activities in the area. Rooms are comfortable and clean!
