Liked: Motel O located just North of Oskaloosa is somewhat outdated and no frills, but the room was clean, the desk lady was friendly and considering the price I would stay there again. At night time it is lit up like an amusement park.

Liked: The staff were nice.
Disliked: This is by far the worst place Ive ever stayed at. Dirty and just run down. It was to the point that I slept in my car.

Liked: The rooms were excellent, the tv on the wrong spot while in bed.
Disliked: Right where the bed was is the window and there is also a huge light shining in and will keep you awake all night. Placing the beds on different place and the TV in a different spot can solve these issues. Or place the light in at the door instead!

Liked: I was looking for the cheapest motel in town to stay while working at the Eddyville Cargill Shutdown. To my surprise it me all my needs. The hotel manager was friendly and easy going.
Disliked: Not knowing in order to have a hot shower you need to turn the hot water facet on. Other than that it is what I expected.

Liked: NOTHING
Disliked: When we pulled up to the liquor store/hotel, there were people fighting in the parking lot, lady working said it had been going on since 6am. I asked for a refund because of the unsafe conditions & she said ok. I wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy!

Bad

Disliked: looked like a room from the 80s.. afraid to take shower .. carpet stained.. windows ac noisy.. dirty stained towels..

Liked: Hotel has no food service but close to many restaurants and fast food
Disliked: The carpet needs replaced and rooms needs repainted and the bathroom is to small

Motel worked out very well for our needs.

Liked: The motel was just what we anticipated. Beds were comfortable and the front office staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: Wish they would have offered a breakfast. Ice machine was broken (but the front office got us ice from their own refrigerator).
