It was interesting, and fine...

Liked: Neat history and the refurbishment was well done for historical effect. Getting a free coffee and pastry for breakfast was a nice surprise.
Disliked: True it's a 100 year old building (which is cool), but it needs to better meet the needs of a modern traveler. Not nearly enough outlets, no place to put anything in the bathroom or even in our room.

Liked: I liked the vintage building and the historical atmosphere. I ordered a very tasty Modoc burger with garlic fries in their restaurant. It was more than I could eat and a good value. The waitress was sweet.
Disliked: The drain in my bathroom sink was clogged. Running water would start filling it up and then small black hair would float and then water started coming up the bathtub drain as well that smelled horrible. The room was very hot. The small window a/c unit was loud and didn’t cool the room.

Liked: Love the old style atmosphere. Karaoke on Saturday in front of the Polar bear pelt was a blast!!!! We will be back!! Best garlic fries and Modoc burgers too!! We will be back!
