Liked: Great location, very nice lobby, good size room.
Disliked: Large posters of a hotel restaurant are plastered on the whole entry wall of the hotel, however that restaurant doesn’t exist. When I asked reception to reserve a table, they said, oh, that reataurant closed. Another time I called reception to ask what time the breakfast ends they told me the wrong time. Windows in the rooms don’t open so the air in the room was stuffy. Nice swimming pool, but freezing cold water. There is a button for room service on the room phone, which nobody answered, when I called reception to complain, they then informed me that the hotel doesn’t have room service. Finally, house keeping could do a much better job at setting up and cleaning the room. Overall, the hotel doesn’t feel like its well managed.

Disliked: The room were hot, the air condition wasn’t working, we tried to fix it but no avail. The window handle was also broken, no fresh hAir. it was a bad experience.

Lovely comfortable stay

Liked: The staff were very accommodating and kind, they put up with our 'in progress' German and helped us out in English when we needed help! The room was very comfy and clean and serviced daily. I requested some black tea and milk and a kettle and tea bags were delivered to my room before we'd made it back upstairs, which was very kind. The bar staff were lovely and the hotel in general has a very upmarket feel without being pretentious, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I've personally had a very restorative week and the Clayton hotel has certainly helped towards that. Thanks 😊
Disliked: I don't love single mattresses/ duvets together instead of a king sized bed, but I appreciate this is the norm on the continent, I just kept losing my duvet in the night and getting cold toes 😆 that being said, the pillows and duvets were super soft and lovely, I usually struggle with neck ache and use a special pillow at home, but I was fine with these ones.

Disliked: The lift during the weekend is impossible to walk in, even to reach it, the system fails due to to many people, and there is no stairs! We have been waiting to get out 47 minutes with baby on hand, calling the personnel to open the emergency stairs and they said no wtf
