It was a splurge for...

Liked: Large, comfortable, well lit room with modern fixtures in the bathroom that include a double sink bathtub and dual jet shower. The front desk staff is exceptional. The location could not be better for our needs, wanting to explore the Gothic quarter and be central to public transportation.

Liked: The location is excellent near to public transport but in the heart of the old city. The staff were all kind and helpful. The restaurant was fantastic and the food delicious modern takes on Tapas.
Disliked: Only the weather. This is an excellent hotel with atmosphere and character.

Liked: Breakfast was good quality with a reasonable variety. The location was great with lots of attractions ( rambla, marina etc) a few minutes away on foot.
Disliked: We did not like the coffee. Both in the breakfast and in the room the coffee was really weak and I think this something that can be easily fixed. I also thought that the lighting in the breakfast area was really poor.
