Hotel Nell - Union Market, Washington

I would happily book again...

Liked: Staff are friendly, helpful, accommodating and fabulous! The location, about a 10 minute walk to the Metro and Union Market is just around the corner, great eats and treats.
Disliked: I knew going in that the walls were a little thin, so it didn’t come as a big surprise that I could hear the neighbours were having a great time too!

Ideal as a local base...

Liked: Location and local area. A short walk to metro station and downtown. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were adequate for a comfortable stay if simply looking for a place to sleep and change
Disliked: Room was small and basic. Twice my tv remote was switched. Have to reconnect to wifi each day

Exceptional

Liked: I liked absolutely everything about the hotel, but I would especially like to highlight the human quality. Each and every one of the collaborators made me feel at home, and that is what I value most. The facilities were always clean and the room was pleasant, comfortable and cozy.
Disliked: Nothing!

beautiful hotel, staff is so...

Liked: beautiful hotel. lobby was the best...good music and it smelled really nice.
Disliked: no microwave or safe in room ac did not really work well.

Overall relaxing stay but some...

Liked: I like the decor and it was very relaxing and quiet.
Disliked: I didn’t like that they charge for breakfast and the parking is $45 that’s ridiculous especially because you’re staying at the hotel it should be free.

A second-hand CitizenM

Liked: It's a good hotel and kind of like a second-hand CitizenM. The rooms are similar thou not as good as the M. The lobby is a cool area and again, kinda like the M, but not as good. The location in NoMa is good although I prefer closer to downtown.
Disliked: The bed was short. My feet hung over it and I'm 6 feet tall. The WiFi was a chore. It's a pain to sign into and if you get knocked off, you would usually have to go through the entire routine again. The bar closes too early and the restaurant is closed in the middle of the day. That's horrible.

Liked: The front dest was really friendly
Disliked: To much noise outside my windows I was on the second floor room 203 and there were a bunch of mail voices having combersations and listening to loud music they were so loud I could sleep they were there from like 1q to like 4 in the morning on and off but other than that love everything specifically your shampoo and conditioner I wish I knew where you got it from smells so good
