Lovely hotel very friendly staff,...

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel facilities were excellent and the hotel was in good location for accessing the town. Food was of a good quality both at breakfast and dinner.
Disliked: Unfortunately at times the service in the restaurant and bar could be slow. Main bar was a smoking bar with no bar for non- smokers, this was disappointing.

Lovely hotel

Liked: Lovely traditional hotel. Nice leasure facilities. Massage was superb.
Disliked: Very little, breakfast was expensive for what was on offer.

Place would like to back...

Liked: For such great place and service, the sauna should be included in the room cost...

Great stay in Wiesbaden

Liked: Everything good, Nice rooms, spa great, restaurant very good. The Smoking room/bar must be a one of a kind in Europe now days, very nice for the once that like to have a cigar!!!!!!!!

Hotel with amazing character and...

Liked: Great place and location, a hotel with amazing character! Staff were exceptional, breakfast is good, and we always enjoy the hotel bar!
Disliked: The piano player was just ok and he took way too many breaks for long periods of time. We’ve been numerous times and have had much better piano players in the past.

Overpriced and outdated—a relic charging...

Liked: The thermal pool on the roof.
Disliked: Everything is old fashioned and tired. The room was very poorly equipped ( no coffee machine or kettle) and the tablet in the room did not work. The hotel bar was a big disappointment as there was no option for non smokers to enjoy a drink. Overall the hotel is stuck in a time bubble in terms of modern customer expectations and needs.

Exceptional

Dated but nice Grand Hotel

Liked: The Nassauer Hof is certainly the grand hotel of Wiesbaden! It's location is hard to beat, especially for the Christmas Market which we were there to see. Very centrally located and a stunning building. The rooms were a great size and very comfortable. The spa pool was a nice inclusion to the stay as well. The bar was very lively in the evenings. I did not eat at the restaurant, but it does have a michelin star and the hotel breakfast was good (if not a bit expensive).
Disliked: Despite the grandness of the hotel, it's feeling a little dated. It feels like it was the height of elegance 40 years ago. No issues with the room, but I would say it was a little overpriced. Our view was of a nothing courtyard. The hotel bar allows smoking and was not so great to be in. We arrived with a car and it's not entirely obvious where to pull-in for valet or to unload luggage since the circle drive actually says taxis only. The staff was kind, but often seemed a bit annoyed to answer questions. The spa pool is nice, but basically just lukewarm and the sauna is an extra cost. The breakfast was good, but not quite worth the price tag.
