A tastefully renovated 3 star...
Liked: Perfect location in walking distance to all relevant destinations in the historic center of town (and there are many!).Historic building renovated nicely to meet all needs (suite including pantry kitchen). Great decorations inside the whole building for the Dia de los Muertos holiday. A pleasure to start the day on the especially nice roof terrace with good breakfast included! Uber car service easily available at all times including transfer to the airport.
Disliked: You have to be aware that you are in a very busy area of town. We felt however very safe/ no need to be afraid since there is a huge presence of police everywhere.

Great location and value!
Liked: Breakfast was 150 pesos per person, which is quite a bit pricier than seeking your own food. But I must say that it was quite tasty and nutritious; there was a selection of fresh fruits, meats, potatoes, frijoles, milk, and orange juice. Along with cereal and coffee. And I love the room we stayed in; it was huge! For ~200 USD per night elsewhere in North America, I would never expect a nicely furnished room that can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people. There is just so much space. The hotel is also very, very close to Plaza de la Constitución; a 5 min walk at most. Therefore there is easy access to festivities and subway entrances on the plaza. Last but not least, while the staff may or may not speak fluent English, all the folks that I interacted with were friendly, patient, and helpful. I appreciate their service manning the 24-hr front desk.
Disliked: My only gripe is that the room isn't quite sound proof, even with its windows permanently closed.. You will definitely be able to hear noisy festivities on the streets. I regret not bringing ear plugs to help me fall asleep.

Excellent and comfortable location with...
Liked: Comfortable and quiet. The location close to the Zocalo and very nice top floor open lounge with excellent breakfast
Disliked: It’s a Hostel property and hotel together. Lobby needs updating and has the feel of a hostel.

Close to El Zocalo, amazing...
Liked: Beautiful building, amazing staff overall!
Disliked: My only feedback for my stay would be cleanliness when it comes to bed sheets. Specifically the pink throw blanket. It had a white stain that didn’t look too hygienic. Other than that everything else was amazing.

Great value, great location!!
Liked: Great location, the size and comfort of the family rooms, nice and comfy beds, good Breakfast, staff was extremely helpful and kind, nice Wi-fi
Disliked: I see 2 improvement areas: First, the breakfast is served on the 4th floor, which it’s a nice open area, but when the weather is cold or it rains, like it happened during my stay, wasn’t pleasant; they should have a plan B for the clients.Second, the towels were worn out and looked old, not a big deal but it’s a simple detail that can improve the overall experience
