Good location. Basic, but clean...

Liked: Location; Lovely knowledgeable professional and friendly Receptionist.Clean room, bedlinen and bathroom.
Disliked: Noise of building work going on (hotel being renovated/redecorated), which I'm sure will be lovely once completed.Bacon all gone at breakfast from greedy guests!

Disappointing

Disliked: There was a renovation in the hotel for which we were not warned. It was dirty everywhere. The rooms are not soundproofed and everything can be heard. The second night we slept without sheets, the maid forgot to load them. The staff is not friendly.

Liked: The location was definitely very good .close to metro station / main road, but still quiet as it was in a cul-de-sac. The Louvre is only 25 mins walk. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The hallway and bathroom weren't really clean. The bathroom was very small. The room didn't look like the pictures at all!

We were delighted with the...

Liked: The location The comfortable beds
Disliked: The bathroom was minuscule The carpet was old & puckered - could have been a trip hazard We must have been in the un-renovated part as we were directed to use what was obviously the service lift.
