Great place to stay in...

Liked: Location was close to the train station and the old town. The hotel was quaint with lots of character and great views. Our train was an hour late and so I wrote to the office about our delay. Brent in the office reassured us that he would still be there later at 10pm to receive us. He even carried our luggage up the stairs for us.
Disliked: All good.

A gracious Art Nouveau stay.

Liked: Beautiful Art Nouveau building, well-preserved and maintained. A unique find. View of the park from the window made one feel as if you were rural and not in the city. Just a short walk to the city attractions and station. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and all the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: Internet was not great. Maybe it is just at the top floor but we really struggled continuously to keep our connection. Parking was on the street and expensive We knew that from previous reviews but it is still something to keep in mind. Luckily we did have any trouble finding parking close by.

Lovely hotel, we would definitely...

Liked: Excellent hotel with lots of character. All the staff spoke perfect English which was useful. Very comfortable room and very good breakfast.
Disliked: We would have appreciated some heating in the room. There is no lift and as we are in our 80s it was a problem taking the luggage to and from the 2nd floor

Liked: The owner and her staff are excellent, great location with a short walk into Arnhem center. breakfast was very good. Our room with a balcony is excellent. We would definitely stay there again.
