Positives outweigh the negatives.

Liked: We loved the room, look and location of the hotel. We loved the food, and we liked the amenities. The view is stunning! Although some of the facilities were closed due to renovations, what was available was very high standards.
Disliked: Unfortunately we experienced a payment issue whilst checking out of the hotel. Firstly we did not know about the extra €50 per night added cost for expenses, etc which they don't advertise, we then didn't realize we had to pay a deposit for the room which we take responsibility for in this mistake but found the male receptionist attitude towards us was very passive aggressive, rude and extremely unhelpful. Naturally when we realized our mistake we did start to panic as our funds were limited and we were under the notion that the room was paid for, but instead of attempting to help us in any way, we were met with a cold shoulder. This male receptionist also accosted us on the way to our room on a separate occasion, asking us what room we were in as he was clearly hinting that we weren't actual guests at the hotel. However, we want to stress the fact that all other staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. When we told the female receptionist on Check In that it was our honeymoon, she gave us a selection of rooms to choose from and we also found a lovely treat of Champagne and Chocolate Strawberries in our room.You need 1 and a half times the amount of your room and then an extra €50 a night. Other than that, it was lovely!

Liked: The room was great and the balcony view was amazing. The location was great for us. Easy to get to the beach by cablecar and restaurants within minutes of the hotel.
Disliked: That we honestly couldn't stay longer. Some things like the carpet and furniture were a little dated, but we were told they are planning to renovate soon.
