Passable

Liked: The location was great. The room was clean and reasonably sized. I liked the staff I met, they were very polite.
Disliked: The walls were very thin and leaked every bit of sound, including rated noises. It's not a good choice if you have little kids. The beds were so soft I had body aches from it, but that's a personal preference issue.

Liked: Spot on location, really close to Sol Metro station surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants. Comfortable beds and good shower. Easy check in, clean, good value.

No Frills, 11/10 Location

Liked: This hotel is perfect if you just need a place to store your stuff, shower, and sleep. It is no frills, but it’s clean, it’s cheap, the staff is nice, and the location can’t be beat: if whatever you want to see isn’t within walking distance of the hotel, it’s a two minute walk to the Sol station with trains to everywhere you could want to go in Madrid and beyond.
Disliked: The wifi was slow in my room, but worked well in other parts of the hotel.
