Liked: The hotel is very good, located in Chinatown, which is super cool and different. I walked around the neighborhood a lot and found it very safe. The staff is friendly, and there are amenities like shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, a dental hygiene kit… The bed is comfortable and the shower is great. It’s right in front of the subway, but the double windows reduce the noise a lot. The only drawback is that it didn’t quite match the photos shown at the time of booking, but it’s still a very good hotel. Recommend it!

Convenient, no frills, cozy place...

Liked: The room was exactly what I needed for a short two night stay where I was out all day and only needed a place to sleep. Nothing more, nothing less. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Although the hotel is right next to the bridge, I found it to be pretty quiet at night. Earplugs were available upon request. Perfect location, just a short walk to the F Train (East Broadway) and not far from B + D trains (Grand St). Fresh towels available daily and the room has hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor. Reception was nice and helpful whenever I needed anything. Even before I arrived, they were responsive to messages I sent on Booking.com. The lists of coffee / breakfast / food recommendations were a nice touch - I ended up going to one of the recommended places (Kong Sihk Tong) and it was delicious.
Disliked: Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. That said, the room was pretty expensive for the size (nearly 200 CAD a night), but I understand that this is on par with other accommodations in the city. The convenient location makes up for it. I wish the rooms came with mini fridges but there is a communal fridge in the basement (C level) where the vending machine is. You just need to label your food. This wasn't a huge issue but my room was quite cramped and my bed was really close to the door. You can easily hear people in the hallway but thankfully other guests were very quiet during my visit so it actually wasn't an issue. The size of the room was just enough for one person.

Disliked: Central air-conditioning and rooms are sometimes too hot.

Comfy stay in Mimosa hotel

Liked: Hotel is located on the east side of Chinatown, on the cross section of East Broadway street and Devision street; Location is a really nice, I liked it, easily accessible my means of public transport. Hotel itself is located next to the Brooklyn bridge; passing metro trains makes recurring noise and vibration, this was fine for me , however some might find this disturbing especially light sleepers; there are tons of restaurants and shops nearby; hotel provided their list of recommendations for local eating spots which is greatly appreciated; hotel room is really small, however considering price I think no reason to complain; in would give the hotel one star or maximum two stars, this is my opinion; no breakfast is offered by the hotel; there is a vending machine in the hotel with poor selection of products; also I noticed the shared kitchen which I didn't use; I booked this hotel just for two nights as my transit stop while on my trip back to home country, considering the price I paid it was ok. Internet was good.
Disliked: There is problem with regulating temperature in the hotel; it was 6 C outside and really cold in the room; it is not possible to regulate the temperature from the room, so I called reception reception, problem was solved temporarily, in the morning it was still cold. Noise can be a real issue for light sleepers, there is a metro passing by.
