Convenient location and reasonable value....

Liked: A great location. Just a short easy walk from the main train station and bus/transfer station. Also, close and walking distance to the centre of town and the main port area. A variety of food offerings close by. A sizeable but old-style hotel. Clean and comfortable but the room was old and in need of an update. Sizeable and clean bathroom. Beds, 4 singles with 2 pushed together to make the double, were comfortable but firm. Staff were friendly and helpful with directions and information. A very good buffet breakfast was included which was welcome. Very small lift so 4 people with luggage took a few trips to get to and from our room but still better than no lift at all.

We TOTALLY enjoyed EVERYTHING about...

Liked: Our Room was ready when we arrived. We were greeted with kind, efficient, professional and gracious staff. Thankfully, the Milano Hotel has a wonderful Italian ‘feel’. No American chain hotel trappings. (I like those in America but not in Italy.) The beds are comfortable and the linens are cosy. The bright and cheerfully appointed lobby and breakfast room added to our happy stay. Lots of delicious choices for breakfast are included. Upon checkout we were offered coffee/tea as we had some time to wait in the lobby before leaving town. I highly recommend the Milano Hotel.
Disliked: Nothing to add here. It’s ALL good.

Liked: Very nice hotel. We arrived at Trieste Station, and this was very convenient - about 5 minutes away. Check-in was straightforward, room was comfortable and clean, breakfast had a lot of choice. Easy walking distance to sea-front and centre of the city.
Disliked: Everything was good - no problems.

Liked: The room was a good size, bathroom was very large with great lighting. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet.
Disliked: Parking was a nightmare. It said parking was available, but we could not find it and eventually parked at the train station. Upon checking in. we were told that we could have "just double parked across the street from the hotel for a minute to get the information" but the traffic was insane and we did not know to just "double park" quickly to get the info. Evening front desk was nice, morning front desk person was grumpy.
