overall is good.

Liked: breakfast is good with varity choices. Location is wonderful.. just 10 minutes away walk from the center. staff is friendly and helpful.
Disliked: However, cleaning is not that great because the carpet on the hallway is dirty and there are mold in the shower floor, which is a big problem to me.

Great hotel in a fabulous...

Liked: We stayed at Hotel Milano Scala for 3 nights on our first trip to Milano. The hotel itself was in a fabulous spot. Great for shopping, sightseeing and dining. It’s super close to the best restaurants/cafes. The room we had was lovely with a small balcony with a nice view over the city. The bed was comfy, staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was nice.
Disliked: The price of the wine at the rooftop terrace/bar. €40 for 2 glasses of not that great wine. The view was good though.

Nice hotel, great location, small...

Liked: I have stayed at this small hotel before, so I pretty much knew what to expect. The location is perfect - only 5-10 minutes walk to La Scala or to Pinoteca Brera or to the fashion district Montenapoleone.One thing I really like in the hotel is that there is live music at breakfast - this time a young harpist but I have also heard a pianist. And the breakfast is plentyful.The rooftop garden is nice in good weather with a great view to the mountains.
Disliked: Rooms are rather small. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is unimpressive and ridiculously expensive.
