Liked: Staff except for the lady in charge of breakfast were unpleasant

Very nice hotel

Liked: The location is ideal, and easy to walk from straight into the streets of Rennes. I walked from the train station easily, although the pavements are quite bumpy. The breakfast was exceptional, plenty of choice , buffet style. Lots of drink options, loose leaf teas, and lovely coffee. The staff were really nice, young, hard working and helpful if need be. The bed was comfortable , nice sheets, pillows a bit soft but there were four. The shower was powerful and hot.
Disliked: The carpet had dog hair on it when I arrived and also the bed spread, which upset me , seeing as it was a pricey room. I asked for a very good clean the next day , and this was done, so all was well. It does beg the question how a hotel can allow dogs in expensive carpeted rooms , it just isn’t nice! The bathroom was a bit on the small side considering the spacious bedroom, and the towels rather small and thin.

Liked: Location was great. We arrived at night so didn’t really have a chance to gauge where we were. Next morning we realized how close we were to walking everywhere.
Disliked: The hotel was very quiet, it was almost like we were the only ones there. Felt a little odd, office staff sits in a back office and not at the front desk so you feel like your bothering them. Although everyone was very nice and accommodating

Pleasant

Rennes is worth a visit....

Liked: Well situated in the center Rennes and not far from the train station. A deluxe room over a garden.
Disliked: The name « Parliament » is a catch it is near the Place de la République and next to the famous city Parliament . Small detail there is no shoe polish on floor 2
