Good location, friendly staff and...
Liked: The location was good - 20 minutes walk from the Train Station and 10 minutes from the town centre. The hotel is very close to a tram stop which made longer journeys easy. The Staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

Not worth the price, especially...
Liked: The bed comfort was great. So was breakfast.
Disliked: The restaurant was the worst. We were cold the whole time (despite eating with our coats on), the food was pricey for very common stuff, it was served in cold plates. Definitely not worth it. Might have been due to the staff being on holiday, but closing the restaurant for good could have been a better option then. I had the same plate (gratin de ravioles) in a small restaurant close to Lans (15km from Grenoble) 2 days later, it was better, warmer, more filling, and cheaper. Also overhyping everything, see the picture of the tapwater bottle in the room...

Small room, small bed, ran-down...
Liked: Even the premium room was super small. There is no closet to unpack into; you must live out of your suitcase. Bed is a 140cm bed. I specifically requested two duvets for the double bed in advance - which was not the case on arrival. We asked for it and received another double-sized duvet, with the excuse that they don't have smaller ones... (sic)There is no toilet brush in the bathroom/toilet. The tub did not drain properly. There are only paper cups in the room. So far I thought that this is more an optical nuisance that contributes to a feeling of (non-)well-being - now I realized that if you put a (paper) cup of water on your nightstand, a paper cup won't hold it until the morning... :DAt breakfast, when we asked if they would have ANY vegetables for us, we were pointed to the baked potatoes and the hummus... To the credit of the lady refilling the breakfast buffet, she brought us tomatoes - and the second morning as well, without having to ask. :) This was unfortunately the only positive experience we had in the hotel. The parking garage is so narrow that with opened mirrors our car had about 3cms left on both sides to the walls.
