Nice hotel would stay again

Liked: Nice staff and a 10 min easy walk from Bordeaux airport, room was clean and a good size, the secondary door eliminated a lot of the corridor noise one normally gets with airport hotels in the middle of the night, if I was not next to a lift shaft in the room given I'd not hesitate to stay again.
Disliked: I was right next to a lift shaft which destroyed the comfort score for me as I kept getting woken up, my score would have been 8/10 otherwise as my last stay here. As many French airport hotels the price is high for what one gets.

A little better attitude from...

Liked: Good location, comfy bed, airport shuttle.
Disliked: Noise from the lift. Having to pay on arrival like you weren’t trusted, having to pay each drink rather than run a tab on the room. Reception staff not pleasant at check in. Not being allowed to sit at an empty table for breakfast as it had lunch rather than breakfast napkins and being told to sit in a dark corner. Having to cook my own egg for the breakfast.

Liked: Kind and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. It was nice to have a fitness center on the property. I appreciated the facility was close to the airport. Everything was clean and well kept.

Very disappointing. For the price...

Liked: Interesting decor in reception. Reception staff very welcoming and efficient.
Disliked: Corridor in poor state of repair. Hammering at close range started just after 0800.Breakfast: buffet selection very poor - empty serving platters, cold scrambled egg, pink sausages, DIY coffee, no plates ( or dirty). Difficult to identify staff - no corporate dress, just seemed to wear something grey. Insufficient staff.

Close to airport but not...

Liked: Proximity to airport, restaurant staff friendly.
Disliked: Needs modernisation. Shower in bath, no option for firm pillows, decor needs renewal (walls of corridors dark grey, carpet grey, very odd indeed - The Shining!). Drop-off area outside front door cramped, risky for cars due to design of area around pillar supporting porch; reception staff unwilling to take concern seriously. No feedback possibility offered for guests.
