Although it doesn’t look like...

Liked: Was a great choice to be close to the train for those early train mornings. We used it as a jumping off point to go to Mont-Saint-Michel, rent a car (lots to chose from in the same square) and drive to the Normandy beaches and then train to Paris. It’s definitely in a great spot. Another positive is that you can use the train tunnel and walk to the other side of the train tracks where there is a bit of a mall and has a few good restaurants. We really enjoyed lunch at La Taverne.
Disliked: Was hard to figure out how to get in to the hotel to check in and then hard to figure out how to correctly use the hotel key to get back in after hours. If the website could take that one extra step to tell you how to do those two things when booking would make a much better first impression. Other than that it’s a busy area with lots of people hanging around the front door, hence why they probably keep it locked a good portion of the time.

Liked: The location was great ! Really close to the train station.
Disliked: Busy location. It’s kinda noisy during the night, we kept hearing people screaming from outside the streets.

Disliked: Staff was not readily available. WiFi did not work.

Liked: The hotel had renovated some things of tthe room, such as the bathroom, which was nice, even if some things were missing, but I think that they should work more on improving the facilities.
Disliked: The area around the hotel didn't seem safe, even if it was convenient, since it was very close to the train station. There was no elevator and no air conditioning, in the bathroom there were missing basic things such as hangers for the towels. Some of the pillows didn't seem that clean and the breakfast was really bad, probably the worst I had ever had.
