Don't stay here if you...
Liked: - Ceiling fan is a nice touch- Comfortable lobby lounge area- Bed and pillows are comfortable. Choice between three different pillow thicknesses is nice.- You can control all the lights in the room from the bedside- Porter is very helpful with bag storage - There's a filtered water tap in the bathroom. However, the button gets stuck a lot so my glass overflowed a lot.- You can get room service food delivered for only a 10% extra fee- The breakfast is actually pretty good. Eggs, steak, coffee, toast with strawberry jam were all very solid.
Disliked: - WiFi virtually unusable. Interestingly, only some websites are affected. E.g., Reddit.com frequently didn't work while Facebook always worked.- Seems like there's often street fairs on this street so sometimes Ubers have trouble getting to you- Rooms look like they haven't been updated since the 80s. Musky smell- Front desk employee did not tell me anything about amenities (like gym or restaurant hours) upon check-in. - Loudest hair dryer I've ever encountered- Elevator super slow- 3cm gap under the door. Horrible sound insulation. Super loud door slamming in the halls at 7am.- Very cold in the room at night/morning. Apparently no heat- Horrible harsh bright white lighting in the bathroom. Worst bathroom lighting I've ever seen.- Tuna sandwich from the attached restaurant took a long time to make and ended up not having much tuna on it at all. And the french fries were the worst I've ever had. Not edible.- Did not let me work out in the gym immediately after check-out. Not an expectation but I think some hotels would provide that courtesy.

Comfortable stay in a great...
Liked: It is excellent location, and comfortable enough to allow maximum use of the location.
Disliked: The breakfast was not a buffet . The rooms are a bit too small. Fan was enough , but we assume that this was due to the season.

I look forward to booking...
Liked: The location was excellent - one block south of the Parque Alameda and the Bellas Aries, one block west of the Eye Central Lázaro Cardenas. The room was small, but not too nicely styled, the bath and vanity area well-lighted, and the hot water was ...HOT. There was a faucet on the side wall of the vanity that accessed filtered, potable water, which I used to advantage. And the room was fresh and very clean ... the hotel room maintenance service was spot-on.
Disliked: I really did not have any "didn't likes" about my stay. It was very, remarkably positive. My visit was to the Centro Histórico of Mexico City, so I wanted ease, comfort, and proximity from my hotel. I did not - nor do I ever - expect or want to be bowed, scraped, or kowtowed to in a hotel. I came for the city, not to be fawned over.

Very good
Liked: This hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of the centro histórico. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was spotless. Our room faced the back of the building, so it was wonderfully quiet with minimal street noise. The staff and housekeeping team were incredibly friendly and welcoming. For the price, it’s an excellent choice! I would gladly stay here again.
