On-site parking is available at Hotel Mare with charge. It is a 5-minute walk from Uhlandstraße Underground Station just 3 stops from Hamburg Main Station. The city of Hamburg will designate the area around our Hotel Mare as a parking zone from March 6th. Parking tickets can be obtained from the machines but according to the current status only for a maximum of 3 hours. Paid- weekdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Look elsewhere for a pleasant...

Liked: The room and bathroom were beautiful and spacious. The bed and duvet were very comfortable. We loved the wooden floor in the room and tiled floor in the bathroom. The room and bathroom were very clean - although we did find some mould in a corner of the room, which was gone the day after our arrival.
Disliked: Hotel Mare is more a very expensive hostel than a hotel. The main hotel, with breakfast room, is about 200 metres away on the same road. In such cases, other hotels provide coffee machines for the guests - with coffee pads or capsules, sugar and milk. Some hotels provide even a fridge. Not here. This is a budget hostel. All in all, this 'hotel' is much too expensive.
