Liked: Maison Montgrand is a beautiful hotel. Comfortable beds and ample room in the family space we stayed in. The breakfast is perfect with ample options and served in an elegant dining room.

We shall come again!

Liked: This was our second stay at the Montgrand and we shall go again. It is perfectly located to explore Marseille. And the breakfast is great.

Would recommend for the Marseille...

Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean, contemporary rooms in an older, classic building (19th c.?) with large terrace and lovely dining room. Central location with easy walking to many locations --not far from Vieux Port and many restaurants.
Disliked: Hotel is actually several different buildings on same street. My traveling companion and I were in separate buildings. Her room was quite noisy from busy traffic on Rue Montgrand well into the night. Entrances to each meant using room id card numerous times to get to our rooms.

Good location, small rooms

Liked: - Great location, about 5 minutes walking to the Vieux Port, 1 minute to the Metro.- Nice breakfast- Large parking about 1 minute walk from hotel
Disliked: - Very small rooms- Hotel is comprised of several building on the same street, with reception and breakfast being in a seperate building.

Good location, value for money.

Liked: The hotel was centrally located, but in the quiet part of the town. The port was within walking distance. We travelled by car and it was helpful that the hotel was near a public pay parking which was quite secure. The receptionist also recommended an excellent restaurant where we could have the bouillabaise.
Disliked: The bathroom sink seemed unsteady. Some of my toiletries that I put there would slide off.
