Excellent hotel at an easy...

Liked: Hotel Maggiore went beyond my expectations for a 3 star hotel. The room had a walk in closet, a pants press, a tea kettle, a heated towel rack and a bidet, and the staff were excellent. When I checked in, the lady booked a taxi for us for the next morning. When I checked out the staff was very pleasant at 4 in the morning. The shower was kind of funky and it was near a noisy street, so you will probably need ear plugs, but the sink was the largest I have experienced in Europe and the shower was warm and I slept well (with my ear plugs). All in all, a great hotel for the price and location. My room had a sliding door and a balcony, which was a bonus even though I wasn't able to use it.
Disliked: The lift went to the lobby floor but the door was locked (the staff member came and opened it for me though).

Liked: Not much, close to the Arena...
Disliked: Unhelpful staff, noisy at night times, families in near rooms, not very modern, needs refresh... glad it was one night only... poor facilities, basic and unwelcoming...

Lovely short stay in Bologna

Liked: What I particularly loved was the attention to details. Complimentary robe and slippers, they think of everything. The customer service was exceptional. The location is just a bus ride away from the train station. I would definitely return if I am in the area.
Disliked: N/A

Superb

Liked: A 3 star hotel that acts like a 4 star. Breakfast and staff and room and appearance all excellent. Surprisingly low price for such a nice place.
Disliked: Only problem was location. Nice balcony but nothing spectacular to look at, and a long way from attractive old town. But the 23 or 19 bus each just a block away get you there in ten minutes, every ten minutes. And the neighborhood though modernly dull is seemed very safe.

Liked: The room was clean and comfy. Very close to the Unipol Arena if you're going to a concert there. Parking is also a plus. The staff is nice and accomodating.

Loved the place!

Liked: The lady and the gentleman at the front desk were really friendly and helpful.The hotel was cute. Had a fridge and some free snacks.Big supermarket next door.
Disliked: Only thing was the window. No view from window.
