Liked: The facilities were beautiful.. The size and design of the room exceeded expectations. The bed, linens, shower, and water stations made the weekend feel like the luxurious getaway we were looking for. The staff were warm and very helpful.
Disliked: Nothing is perfect. Overall this was a great experience.

A Bit Spartan, But Well...

Liked: Breakfast is not included, but there is a restaurant on the ground level that is open for breakfast and dinner. We had breakfast one morning, and it was good -- fresh, real, fruit.The location of the hotel is perfect -- very close to the Dupont Circle metro.The staff was great also -- cheerful and attentive. Daily housekeeping.
Disliked: The in-room coffee is dismal. It is those single-serve teabag coffees that taste like tea and leave you with a huge bag to dispose of when you just want to drink your coffee. Also, they give you just one regular and one decaf coffee bag per room. They badly need to replace that with Nespresso, or at least Keurig.One pays an additional amenity fee which gets you a drink in the lobby bar between 5 and 6, wifi, and some plastic bottles of water to fill up in the hall way. There were no bottles in our room when we arrived, and the water spigot on our floor did not work. In fairness, the spigot gives both flat and bubbly water, and they did fix the one on our floor.The hotel also apparently accepts pets, which we surmised when my cat-allergic husband's eyes became red and itchy. They need to keep some non-pet rooms, and make clear to patrons which they are renting.
