Ok other than the lift...

Liked: Location, friendly helpful staff, breakfast
Disliked: On our arrival 1st day , we were welcomed my reception given our room number on 5 floor, When lift arrived one of the staff that worked there came out of the lift and left with the most AWFUL SMELL STINKING he definitely passed wind / FARTED IN THE LIFT, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! We had to use lift to go up & then come back down from 5th floor, which we reported to reception

Liked: Location to Gare du Nord, breakfast was very good, staff helpful, were upgraded at no extra cost. Very clean.
Disliked: Lack of windows to view, although a suite the bedroom was quite small.

Liked: Easy reach of Gare du Nord. Interesting area of Paris with many different kinds of eateries. Comfy bed. Hot shower.
Disliked: Feels a little tired. It’s had a bit of an upgrade with the pod coffee machine and the Egyptian cotton sheets but the furnishings and wardrobe etc need a refresh. The prices were steep but we are in the middle of the city so it’s to be expected.

Ideal for a short stay

Liked: Hotel was well located for where we needed to attend a meeting. It is about a 5-10 min stroll from Gare du Nord. Check in was reasonably straight forward once the reservation had been found on the system and the receptionist was very friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy although a little small. This was fine for 1 night but much longer it may have been a different story. Chocolates on the pillow a nice touch and decent tea and coffee provisions. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Breakfast was adequate. It is a continental breakfast with a few warm items. More pastries and fruit than anything else. The bathroom was quite small, although the shower itself was excellent. A little disappointing to not be able to obviously get a drink from a bar, so in the end decided to go out for a drink and evening meal. We werent planning on eating at the hotel but would have been nice to be able to get a drink before heading out.

Liked: The staff was very courteous and professional and the room was impeccably clean. It was a short (5 minute) walk to Gare du Nord so very convenient for taking an early morning train.
Disliked: The immediate street location was a bit worrisome with graffiti and an abandoned shop next door. The room was comfortable and very clean but very small. Good for a night or two but not a longer stay.
