Great Hotel in Padua is...

Liked: Fantastic location . Easy to access the major sights and easy to get the local Tram. BUS and Rail stations are on the tram route . You can walk to the major sights as they are close. I thoroughly recommend the hotel . Also, it is very close by train to Verona Vichenza and Venice . Train are very cheap and this makes Padua an ideal place to see this part of Italy . Breakfasts.good and all you need and there are many good restaurants nearby. It's not got a big lounge which may be a disadvanage for some but you can order drinks in the reception area..would have been lovely to hear the baby Grand Piano

Liked: Nice hotel ideally situated near the city center. Very clean rooms, with new furniture and appliances.
Disliked: The parking space is a bit expensive

Adequate, but the spa doesn't...

Liked: The location was a bit of a walk from the station, but right off the main campo and close to all the sights, churches, and many restaurants as Padova is a pretty small town. I thought the AC was quite strong which as it was VERY hot when I was there was great. I used this as a less expensive location to stay and then took the train for a daylong visit to the Venice Biennale. After a very long, hot day looking at art for 9 plus hours I was happy to watch the 2024 summer Olympics in the AC will lying in bed. The room was nothing to write home about. Adequate, compact. Had a small Juliet balcony.
Disliked: I found the staff a bit annoying as I do speak Italian and they were actively using English with me while I spoke to them in Italian. That just seemed rude. If the customer is using Italian with you, just continue speaking with them in Italian. Or say in your madre lingua "I love guests who speak the language of the country you're traveling to and your Italian (or whatever language as this applies for any country) is very good, but it would really help me out to use my English because I want to practice and get better. Could you help me with that?"I felt like in the write-up there was talk of a spa as part of the hotel and I was looking forward to maybe sitting in a sauna as I was traveling for 11 weeks, but there was absolutely no info on that and wandering around the building I found maybe the "spa" on top floor but it was definitely NOT functional.

Liked: Very good breakfast, great location, just minutes walk from central square of Padwa and St. Antoni Basilica. Parking available. Good place for short stay in Padwa.

Liked: Location and staff very friendly and helpful. Especially Chiarra and Jelena at the front desk, they were very professional and helpful and went out of their way to ensure my stay was as good as possible. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!
