Hotel M Morgantown - WVU Area, Morgantown

I remember staying here when it was a Quality Inn. Since the name changed I did not catch it, but same old dump - looks like they are trying to put some money into it, but it still reeks.

Liked: Great breakfast.
Disliked: The room smelled; had water damage; needed a lot of work.

The staff was the nicest I have ever experienced anywhere - they went above and beyond to be accommodating.

Liked: Rooms very clean.
Disliked: Cable and fridge did not work well.

Disliked: The place was dirty, there was no staff on the property to assist, it looked suspicious, the room was filthy, and they tried to put us in a “king sized room” with a full size bed (closer to a twin xl in all honesty). Been trying to get a refund all week, and no one can give me the contact of any form of manager or corporate.

Disliked: Not what the picture shows. Place is a dump . Ceiling was leaking and peeling drywall on ceiling, stains on the blankets. Horrible place to stay and will never again. Should not be on booking.com . It’s a catfish

Disliked: first of all nothing match the website it was unmaned . they worked via telephone and electronic boxes in the lobby. wrong rooms keys did nit match the room> 1 hr and 35 minute to get to a room that was dirty tub was full off silt and bathroom sink was the same i think the drains were cleaned and left dirty. no toilet paper the heat was full blast and couldn't control it .. had to shut off completely I WOULD LIKE A REFUND ! i stay in alot of hotels and motels this by far was the worst in 70 years of my life

So unprofessional, rude and filthy....

Disliked: I had an absolutely horrible experience here. I booked for 2 night stay for a king size bed. When I checked in, the first room they gave me was filthy and there was no light in the bathroom. They then tried to switch me to another room, and when I went to unlock that door it was locked, which means someone was in there. They then switched me again, and gave me a room that only had one double bed. I told them that this was fine because I have places I need to be and I cant keep playing musical chairs for a room, however I expect a partial refund since I paid for a king size bed and did not receive. The worker had to call his boss, and I then spoke to him on the phone, I believe his name was Tom, and I have never been treated with such disrespect. He was yelling at me over the phone telling me they will not give me a refund and they are moving me again and I said no I am not moving this has been a huge inconvenience and has taken hours. To sum it up, I am a 20 year old woman, who spoke with respect and maturity over the phone to this man who was yelling at me. EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. I can't believe I literally gave someone money to be treated like this. And no, I did not receive any refund. Not to mention the room was filthy, the shower barely worked, there was a bunch of trash left from the people before. Do not stay here if you want to be treated like trash.
