Disliked: Noise outside late at night I did ask for a front facing room but found the noise on Saturday night too much

I like this hotel as...

Liked: The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is centrally located and very close to the train station. It is easy to check in and the room is small but clean and has comfortable beds.
Disliked: I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last several years. Two things bothered me thisxvisit. Firstly, the breakfast was very basic and I thought not very good. It seemed to me that on previous visits, the breakfast had been more interesting, had more options, and was just be a better experience. I do not think it is worth the cost. Secondly, the employee who sat in front of a computer screen at the front desk, was very cold - there was no sense of welcome or hospitality, she never smiled and had mechanical responses to questions. I had a minor, but important to me, issue the first morning and she showed no empathy, did not acknowledge the problem or that I was frustrated, barely looked away from her monitor - all of which makes a minor issue feel more significant.
