Comfortable but annoying
Liked: Everything was very comfortable and clean. The location is very good and close to the main points of the city.
Disliked: I didn’t find any person to give me information at the hotel, only a phone number that I should call to discover where my keys were. They also included a breakfast in my stay, but in the morning nobody was there and there were no place to have the meal. In the morning nobody pick up the phone to answer my call asking about the breakfast and I had to take it at another place by myself. Please, don’t sell something that you’re not going to give to your guests.

Disliked: The hotel lacks personnel, hard to obtain information, a little run down place, needs upkeeping, cleanliness is not to standards, got breakfast with my room price but restaurant was close on Monday so I had to find another place to eat, no communication about this.We were totally disappointed about this place. Would not recommend this place. There are multiple places in Quebec City that can be better than this place. We don’t consider this as an hotel more like an auberge.It look good on the net but it wasn’t at all.

Liked: The bed was confortable The room's decoration was nice
Disliked: Carpet going up the stairs to the room was dirty. Look like it was not vacuumed for a whileBathroom was dirty: stains in the tub, dust and hairs on the floor, 2 stained hand towels and one with a whole.Above the bed on the left, looks like there has been a water leak, the ceiling was stainedBaggage issue: no one to help us store our baggages when we arrived in the morning even though I had specified that we would be arriving between 10-11 am. We had to carry our baggages until check-in at 4pm. The next day, we were told that there would be someone to whom we could ensure storage of our baggages all day. Again no one there. We did our check-out at 11am and had to wait for the receptionist to arrive. When we mentioned that we were told we could store our baggages safely in the room behind the reception desk she looked unsure. We conveyed our worries to ensure that it is secure to leave them there and the receptionist just answered: "you can leave them here or go elsewhere". It was unprofessional. She also demonstrated unprofessional behavior when we came back to pick up our baggages. She was on her phone, ignoring us. I had to talk for her to pay attention to us. Hotel Louisbourg need to be clearer with there baggage policies and improve their staff's presence and client service.
