Liked: Everything is clean and doesn’t have that regular hotel smell. It’s quite and nice.

They had no air conditioning...

Disliked: There was no air conditioning

It was clean, but uncomfortable.

Liked: Location and overall stay was great.
Disliked: The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The temperature control was also not working in the room.

Disappointing check in.... first impressions...

Liked: The room was very well made /clean. Breakfast was very good. Cook was pleasant!
Disliked: At check in, there was one person being help by a young woman being engaged by a male customer forever about non check in subjects. All the while the manager ( who was two feet away ) ignored us during this. Finally after 10 min I said to the manager, "Excuse me, would you be able to help us?" He mumbled something ,and shrugged his shoulders motioning towards the young Lotus employee at the counter next to him(talking to the above mentioned customer). I find it completely unacceptable to be ignored like this. The manager should have at least acknowledged our presence with a greeting of some kind eg. " GOOD AFTERNOON, SHE WILL BE WITH YOU IN A FEW MINUTES" ( which had been more than 10 min already). What , was his arm broken? Where in the company's training does it say " just ignore people if you dont want to help?" It completely baffles me that a manager acted this way. Incidentally, I was in the travel industry for two decades, and employees definitely knew who paid their salary. The Customers.

Superb

Liked: It was so hot in our room and no way to adjust the thermostat. We actually had to open a frigging window! Otherwise it was wonderful.
Disliked: The hot rooms?

Wife's birthday

Liked: Some of the staff was nice. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was better than other hotels I've stayed in.
Disliked: Not enough parking space. Housekeeping leaving electrical cords lying around in hallway that people could trip over. Also they were pushy about wanting to get into room long before check out time. The channels on TV had bad reception, channels kept buffering.
