Liked: Hotel rooms are spacious and very comfortable and you get the sense that you get “more room” for the money you have paid for. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom huge! (Although a little bit cold). I wouldn’t say that it’s close to the city center and is approximately ten minutes’ walk from the closest metro station (Loreto) which can be real drag if it’s raining all the time as it did when I visited Milan (and it’s raining very often in Milan). But I guess that’s what makes the Hotel cost-effective. Hotels are very expensive in Milan but this one is ok for the money you pay. And the Milan metro system is great so from Loreto you can practically go everywhere.
Disliked: For the size of the Hotel, I expected a better breakfast which I can say was mediocre, at best. Also the Wi-Fi was very poor. I had to use my mobile phone as mobile hotspot to work the few times I needed it. Finally, the bathroom was sort of cold (I can’t remember if there weren’t any heating devices or simply they didn’t work, but take that into consideration if you plan to visit Milan in the winter).

Liked: Uh, I really liked a lot of it. I have to admit that this is my second visit to Milan, in the previous visit I had a very bad experience with the apartment. But this time the Lombardia hotel as a choice was a hit! The staff, the reception staff and the super-friendly cystatics are excellent! The staff is ready to answer any question with very good instructions. The bed is very comfortable, even my partner, who has a lot of sleeping problems, was delighted with the comfort of the bed. The room is more than spacious, and the cleanliness is superb! Abundant breakfast, a large selection of food! The location is also very good, we found the hotel and parking very easily by car, and the metro is about a 10-minute walk away. All in all fantastic!
