Liked: Great little room with kitchenette and small dining area. The gentleman at the reception, Mr Z was so smiley and friendly, him alone would encourage us to stay again. He even gave us a little upgrade which we really appreciated. The location was fabulous. We only had a couple of nights arriving at Gare L'Est and travelling on from Gare de Nord and the distance between the two is about 7 minutes walking. For walking into the centre around 30 minutes and this is great for us as we love to walk everywhere in order to see the sights.Some people talk about safety around the stations, we had no issues. There are lots of young men hanging around in groups but there is a heavy police presence so you never feel unsafe. Just take the usual precautions. We would recommend staying here for a short stay.
Disliked: Tea towels to dry up dishes. Coffee press would be nice rather than the coffee pod machine. The bathroom was a little dated and the grouting could do with a good scrub.

Good value for money.

Liked: Reception was 24 hours. Close to the train station and bus stops! Some close places to eat. Had an elevator. Room was clean and comfortable. Luckily not too hot as the fans were just enough for the 28 degrees weather.
Disliked: The shower base was filling up with water.
