Beautiful, comfortable, kind staff &...

Liked: This intimate boutique property is very attractive with lush plantings and a short walk to the shops and downtown Ajijic. The staff was very kind and they provided a nicely prepared breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, omelet and local options in their pleasant outdoor dining area.
Disliked: Depending on the season you travel there are flying/biting bugs in the area so bug repellant may be needed. WiFi was marginal strength. Prior to arrival, I tried to call the hotel but it was difficult as the call was not answered after many attempts. I ended up googling to find a cell number of an owner/employees from a blog and it worked. I had called to ask about available parking which is possible inside the gate but it is by request. There is a lot of street parking as well.

Great location, nice pool, jacuzzi...

Liked: Nice but short stay, perfect stop on a roadtrip through Mexico.The room was great, breakfast really good (nice chilaquiles), and the main pool was really nice.
Disliked: The jacuzzi (which we didn't know about, so that was a pleasant surprise!) next to the pool had a strange smell, not disgusting but also not pleasant. It also didn't feel very clean.

Disappointed about the hotel, I was expecting more because of the price I paid for.

Disliked: We didn't like the bed, it was super hard. The A/C minisplit unti was cooling enough to stay cool from outside temperatures of above 95 degrees.
