Great hotel, good location, friendly...

Liked: The hotel and room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was probably one of the comfiest hotel-beds we've experienced. Whilst the location of the hotel is a bit out from the centre, we actually quite liked that as it meant it was nice and quiet, there's a good variety of nearby shops for any necessities you may need and it's situated in-between the Parmentier, Oberkampf and Republique metro stations so you have easy access to the centre from metro lines 3,5 or 11. Another thing to note was that we really enjoyed the breakfast - plenty of choice and very good quality.
Disliked: The floor of the room was quite hard, it's strange as it has a 'soft' appearance like thin carpet tiles however it's pretty much rock-solid, this probably helps from a hygiene perspective but if you're walking around Paris all day you can easily clock-up 15K+ steps so it'd be nice to have a soft floor to come back to after a long day of being a tourist - it's a small thing though, you could just pop on the supplied hotel-slippers.I couldn't figure out how to warm the room, it had reversible air-con however no matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to work. We stayed during a cold spell (0-5 degrees) and so the room did get a bit chilly in the mornings.

Liked: It was my second time here. I like the size of the room and the location
Disliked: Everything was good but the shower could be better. The shower system is really uncomfortable. There is no overhead shower and hand shower is really small.

Liked: This hotel is incredible and one of the best places I've ever stayed. It is my new Parisian home away from home, right where I want to be in the city, with friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and it's also charming.
