not up to the standard...

Liked: The location was good and easy to get to. It was close to all the attractions of Bruges which was useful. It was also quiet near the Bruges train station
Disliked: The hotel was not at all what we expected. This is mainly because there is construction going on in the building. If I had known this I never would've booked to stay here but it wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website. There is no lobby/reception at all just empty rooms under construction. On our first night there was drilling, hammering and vacuuming going on until past 9pm at night. We also found the front door to the hotel had been left wide open one night.

Pleasant

Liked: Staff was nice. Nearby hotel in which it is possible to use some things looks not so bad. The location is great.
Disliked: You have to wait for an eternity for the hot water to go on. Also, some of the simple things in a room like the trash can was broken.

Great location

Liked: We got the spacious four bed room, which included a kitchen and living area in a separate room, which was very nice.
Disliked: The check in was at a different hostel around the corner, and it took a while to check in as there was only one person at reception and a group ahead of us. Our hotel did not have a lobby and we were invited to use the one at the Hostel Lybeer, the check in location, which was nice and had free wifi.

Liked: Nice central location and modern facilities
Disliked: Instructions on how to enter the property was not very clear and we only just made the check in time, apartment is also suffering from early stages of damp

Good location

Liked: Good location, basic rooms and bathroom to good standard and clean
Disliked: Building work in progress, very steep steps to rooms, Hot water was hit and miss, no heating

Very nice stay

Liked: Located in the very centre of Brugges, everything is walking distance. It was my birthday and they offered us a free beer, it was very nice of them! ❤ Super comfortable bed, and very clean.
Disliked: We were a little cold at night and the central heating would not work :(But the shower was hot and amazing :)They were remodelating so it was a bit awkward to arrive and see all the mess, proper of a construction

Disliked: Was a renovation project… in progress and downstairs was a building site complete with builders in the morning. The bathroom was new but bizarrely stank of smoke and the shower massively disappointing delivering hot and then cold water several times a minute!The TV had a bad case of measles. Five black spots on the screen.The bed was against the window, our heads level with the windowsill and with curtains open, no blinds, we were on display to the occupants of the building opposite. The bed had a massive dip in middle and only one pillow each and during the night we could hear the occupants of adjoining room turn over in bed.

Liked: Well located
Disliked: Smelly bathroom, uncomfortable sofa, steep stairs with unmarked light switch, shower leaks onto floor, shower head position makes shower stall cramped

Overall hotel did what it...

Liked: The hotel was very basic for the price. No tea / coffee facilities in the room. Rooms are very small and walls are so thin you can hear everything pretty much from every room. Hotel was also being renovated downstairs which wasn’t listed on the website when we booked it.
Disliked: Walls really thin, stairs are like a death trap especially trying to carrying luggage up to the rooms. Rooms are very small, corridors are dated and needs brightening up.
