Clean hotel in baie Saguenay...

Liked: The space was indeed above the bar but it wasn't very loud, even though we were there on Saturday evening. The staff was super nice as we arrived a bit late . The space was super clean and we had clean towels and sheets. AC was working Space can easily have 3 stars.
Disliked: Noise from the pump next to the building was a bit too loud. There is no balcony or terrace.The location is in an industrial area but walking distance from Tim Hortons. One thing that would be good to suggest to owners is to separate the entrance to the bar and to the reception better. Ideally to have a wall as you need to go through the terrace of the bar to enter I to the reception.

Disliked: The rooms are above a bar that plays loud music until 2:30 a.m. The entire establishment smells of cigarettes.

Disappointing

Got ripped off several hundred dollars.

Liked: Awful experience, you enter the property thru a bar and the only way to get to your room up is up two flights of steep, narrow stairs. When I explained to the management that as an old person with mobility issues that I could never carry my wifes and my luggage up there, we were told tough, take it or leave it, no refunds and that they never have issues as most guests dont take luggage to the rooms, wink, wink. Im really surprised that booking.com carries such a property. Flushed several hundred dollars down the toilet that we can ill afford.
Disliked: Virtually everything, when we went upstairs to look at the room a man was angrily yelling at somebody in the very next room. Did not like being told that because I could not get my luggage up to the rooms that was my tough luck and I was going to pay because they had my credit card number. Its been a few days and Im still upset at the property and booking.com. Ive never left a review like this and will of course never visit this property again or utilize booking.com again. We found another hotel in town who said they knew about all the problems at the plaza bar and hotel.
