Quirky hotel - great food...

Liked: The rooms were fairly basic, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. The hotel is quirky in that it doubles up as a sports centre for Padel Tennis. It was very enjoyable having a drink in the bar whilst watching the sport.

Comfortable hotel convenient for access...

Liked: Tucked away in a side street, the hotel provides a quiet, comfortable overnight stay. The restaurant offers a good selection of well-prepared dishes with prompt, friendly service.Good breakfast buffet.Park on gravel at the front of the hotel before booking in - don't bother to unload luggage first. Once booked in, you can drive down a ramp to the underground car-park and unload there.
Disliked: Rooms can be a little difficult to find through the twists and turns of the corridor that also provides access from the sports courts to their shower-rooms - beware taking a wrong turn into the ladies' changing-rooms!A couple of well-placed signs would overcome this!

Disliked: Hotel not well sign posted. Basic rooms & facilities.

Liked: The restaurant was excellent. and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: The ventilation in the room I stayed in was very bad. Even with a partially opened window, I couldn't sleep well.
