incompetent staff, useless manager, book...

Liked: nothing, worst experience I've had with any hotel
Disliked: Upon arrival i was asked to leave a card for security which is fine. I quickly realised when I went to the room that it was debited for 272 USD. The receptionist told me he had accidentally taken the room price again even though I had prepaid this and that he didn't know how to reverse it. Even though he admitted it was he's fault he offered no apology and didn't seem remotely bothered that he had taken most of my spending money from my preloaded card that I needed for my final 2 days of the trip. I was advised to come back to see the manager that evening. The manager Rex said he had reversed the charge and I should have the money back the next morning. Imagine my frustration when I woke up to find another 2 charges made by Rex, AFTER we had already discussed the mistake he's incompetent receptionist hade made and the financial situation it had left me in. Despite knowing this Rex debited my card for another 60usd breakage deposit and another fee which was never explained whilst I was asleep. This left me with 45usd to spend for 2 days in new orleans. I tried to use my credit card in New orleans but that was blocked by the bank as unusual activity as I never use my card abroad. I couldn't phone my bank as the US sim I had was data only. My trip was completely ruined by this hotel. I still haven't had a refund and will need to raise it as fraud to hopefully get the money back.I travel around 8 times per year and have never experienced service as bad as this. I would suggest staying somewhere else as this hotel are useless, unapologetic and keep customers card details.

Liked: Great location, room was comfortable enough
Disliked: Allow for an outdoor key card scanner for later at night.

Perfect! Would stay here everytime.

Liked: Property was very nice, perfect location, comfortable, would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Didn’t like the half shower glass for the shower. Water seemed to get on the floor and it was a little chilly.

Liked: I don’t like the central location in the city. Everything was a very easy walk to the front. Staff was very friendly and helpful with anything. They even called the cab and got it scheduled for us the morning we were leaving.
Disliked: Advertise on the website there’s an open bar and when we were there, the whole bar was shut down. There wasn’t even bottles in the cabinets.
