Really good value for money

Liked: The location is great! The room was clean, comfortable, good shower, and the breakfast was very good! The staff was also really helpful and it’s very cool that the reception is open 24/7.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The hotel was not in the best repair, there were cracks in the wall and tub and the carpet was dirty. The room was within walking distance to two different Metro lines and made it easy to get around. The breakfast was adequate and the fresh paste ties were tasty. For a touristy trip in Paris on a budget, this place was fine, but definitely not glamorous

Liked: We stayed in a room with a mezzanine, a double bed and two single beds on the mezzanine. The room was lovely with large windows that we could open to cool and ventilate the room. The bathroom was clean and the shower was ok with hot water. The elevator, although old, worked well. The building is old and clearly needs renovation, but it is comfortable and clean and very well located. We did most of our sightseeing on foot. There is a supermarket in front of the hotel and many restaurants nearby, and it is also close to the train station on foot. The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day, which made things much easier, and the staff are all very kind and attentive. The breakfast is great, including the hot chocolate and croissants. The only observation I need to make is about the lighting in the room, only a lamp, there is no central lighting, which makes the room very dark! And the linings of the single beds on the mezzanine smelled of dust.

Liked: For the price Paris costs, the complimentary breakfast included in the price we paid for the room was good and all staff very friendly. Also, the location was handy with so many metro lines nearby. It also had many restaurants and shops near. The bed was good to sleep and it was a very silent neighborhood during the night, we didn't hear anything from anywhere. At least this time of the year, the temperature inside the room was perfect. The staff was helpful when we reported a problem.
Disliked: Well, the whole place needs renovation badly, but we expected it for the price. The bathrooms were newer.The most annoying were these: -stained old blankets, partly disgusting looking (if they want to use them, they should definitely buy duvet covers instead of just single sheets that slip from you), also the pillowcase I had was also stained and had hair but took another one from the other bed so did not have to go complain about that -other little details in the room were not very clean either, for example the remote control super sticky and at least we could not make the TV work-only one socket was working properly to charge the phones and it looked pretty dangerous as well, the first room we had had only one as well but so high that you would need to let it hang from the cable-we had heard about the bug problem in Paris and noticed it the last days also in reviews so checked the bed really carefully deciding not to put any bags on the floor or bed... and yes, the first thing we saw was a little bug running on the pillow (did not look like a bed bug but still went to report it showing a video and they thankfully gave us another room, maybe it had just come from the open window but still...)-if people move behind the door you hear everything, there is no sound proof at all (but it did not bother us when had a room in a good corner and no loud neighbours)

Very close to everywhere, nice...

Liked: Super location, everything is near. Small and nice breakfast was good. Good personel.
Disliked: It was very cold in the room, there was no option to turn on heating. Even reception desk was not able to help. Bathroom in the the room was new, it was nice despite the fact that hotel is really old and requires repairs.To be able to check in 1 hour earlier we needed to pay +25€.
