Was very nice but quality...

Liked: The room was a nice size. Cleanliness of the room and common areas was very good.The staff was very friendly and helpful.It was very quiet in our room, I did not here any hallway noises. We had a very nice view of the lake (207).The back common area is very pretty, there are also two hot tubs.(We did not try the hot tubs so I can not comment on these)All in all we enjoyed our experience.
Disliked: The breakfast was OK, but it would have been nice to have some hot choices. There was a very strong floral smell in the hallway leading to the rooms. Normally this would not bother me but this smell was overpowering. There was only a small lamp table in the room. There is the space for a bistro table which would have been nice.There is no microwave in the room. The T.V only has basic cable. A smart TV would have been nice for the rainy day.The price we paid for the room was too high. My negatives are all minor I know, but for the price we paid for the room I should have nothing negative to say.

Liked: Massage therapist was superb. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Rustic accommodations. No evening coffee/tea service.Inadequate staff.

Disliked: Restaurant was closed for renovations so meant we had to leave the hotel to find somewhere to eat

Liked: The breakfast was very good although it was on the second floor and they did the best they could with the power outage. Elevators did not work and decafe coffee was not available. Regular coffee was available but only a small pot and ran out frequently. Would not have happened if there had not been a power failure. Located right across from the lake with private access to thu;e lake. Very clean.
Disliked: Hydro could have been on this morning. Difficult seeing in a dark room. This was no fault of the hotel. The staff adapted as best they could.

Liked: The front entrance is welcoming and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We did not use the spa nor the continental breakfast so I'm not sure about those services.
Disliked: We attempted to contact the front desk to let them know that we would be checking in later than expected and no one answered. When we arrived we couldn't find the front desk staff. It took 15 minutes before we found someone. We had to search around the hotel for the person. The furniture seemed dated and some parts worn out. The bathroom had a new vanity but the rest of the bathroom seemed old.
