Liked: Beautiful historical hotel, close to restaurants, mall and shops.
Disliked: The parking cost additional 15$ and the parking lot is across the street.No breakfast and the hotel restaurant opens at 8 am.

Cute but dysfunctional heating and...

Liked: Good location, comfy beds, large room.
Disliked: Stayed in the "carriage house." Heating is antiquated and badly designer -- the register is just below the ceiling and heat rises so it's ineffective. Rather then fix it the management, which clearly knows this is an issue, puts dinky plugin ceramic heaters in the room. Even going full-blast that's ineffective. It felt like I was camping for the first few hours in the room. Ridiculous. Also the wifi is spotty and the windows lack blackout shades -- just had venetian blinds.

Staff was lovely and welcoming.

Liked: Staff amazing and helpful and hotel lovely and conveniently located. Bathroom very nice.
Disliked: Need to get new bedspread set. Was cute but old and faded from age.

Liked: Nice size Jr. Suite, good value
Disliked: We were warned that the shower handle for hot and cold water "might" be reversed. Very difficult to adjust initial water temperature.
