Liked: The staff was very nice and helpful and the location very good for my visit. The facilities are outdated but clean. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Liked: the hotel 'La Place' is a cozy place providing very homey feeling, we have felt welcome but one thing was standing out: breakfast. It is truly generous and served with a great care, the kitchen staff was always smiling, prepared to fulfill our wishes.

Disliked: No parking yet it comes up on Booking.com as a hotel with parking.

Location is superb for London...

Liked: We were in the attic, cozy room within easy walking distance of James St for great restaurants and Oxford St. Tube stations nearby. Definitely don't bring your car into London! A La Carte Breakfast was great
Disliked: The lifts go to the 3rd floor and then you have to haul your bags up the narrow flight of stairs to the 4th floor so not good if you have any physical impairment. OK for us luckily

Liked: The staff were very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was great. They were very helpful with questions we had for use of the underground which was only a block away.
